Please secure your socks: The Gator is about to rock.

Do you like punk music? Do you like your folk music to have a little more bite to it than usual? Do you love to support local artists? If your answer is “yes” to one or more of those questions, we have just the thing for you.

The Gator is fronted by multi-instrumentalist and singer Allison Hanna, who has been an active writer and musician in her own right since 1996. Allison is joined by Jordan Wright (Due North), Jim Van Havermaat (Reuther) and Jordan Von Zynda (Due North & Cheapshow).

This Ferndale band is poised and ready to win you over with tracks off their first full length album (“Amateur Cartography”) as well as some new material they’re cooking up for a new one (due out later in 2015). Their music is fast and loud and full of gusto. Sometimes they rock so hard that their fingers bleed.

For proof and music to stomp your feet to, be sure to make your way to the Ferndale Pride Main Stage at 2pm on May 30th.

Stream their music for free on Bandcamp.

Snag hard copies at Hello Records, Found Sound, Solo Records and Flipside Records.
