Vendor Agreement

Food/Automotive vendors are allowed to drive into the site no earlier than 9:00 AM and may not be allowed to drive onsite after 11:30 PM.

Vendors must be open for business by 1 p.m. and must remain open until 8 p.m.

Participants are responsible for transporting or shipping their goods to and from the street fair.

I understand vehicles are NOT allowed into the festival space except for unloading with the exception of display vehicles. Loading and unloading times will be communicated to each vendor as we approach the event.

I understand that Ferndale Pride will not provide weights for vendor tents. Vendors are advised to bring 4 weights of at least 40 lbs. to weigh down their tent.

I understand that vendors are prohibited from broadcasting any music or sound from their exhibit area, with the exception of radio station booths as agreed to with the event coordinator.

I understand that electricity and water are not available to any booth or exhibit.

I understand that generators cannot be gas powered unless being used to power a food truck.

I understand that vendors found illegally using municipal or business utilities will be promptly shut down and asked to leave the event, and may be subject to prosecution by the City of Ferndale.

I understand that all vendors, participants and attendees must act in strict accordance with state liquor laws and that alcohol may not be brought into the street fair. Vendors not in compliance will be fined by the City of Ferndale or the State of Michigan and will be responsible for any fine incurred by Ferndale Pride or Ferndale Community Foundation.

I understand that vendors may not sell merchandise that contain the words “Ferndale Pride” or depict the Ferndale Pride Logo without the prior written consent of the Ferndale Community Foundation. If you intend on this, please indicate so in the Additional Information section of this application.

I understand that vendors, including vendor's booth staff, consent to being photographed, videotaped and/or quoted for Ferndale Pride publicity/promotion purposes.

I understand that Ferndale Pride reserves the right to prohibit any display or sale of any items or material for any reason, including those that may be illegal, obscene, pornographic or inappropriate as deemed solely by Ferndale Pride.

I understand that vendors and exhibitors are responsible for any damages caused by themselves or their staff members to any other booths, vendors, Ferndale Pride property or City of Ferndale property.

I understand that applicant and all vendors and exhibitors agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ferndale Pride, Ferndale Community Foundation, and the City of Ferndale, from any claim, demand, suit, loss, cost or expense, or any damage which may be asserted, claimed or recovered including death, sustained by any person whomsoever and which damage, injury or death arises out of or is incident to, or in any way connected with Ferndale Pride event.

I understand that Ferndale Pride reserves the right to refuse exhibitor space at its own discretion. Companies, small businesses and nonprofits are eligible to apply. Multi level marketing organizations or affiliates are not eligible for booth space at Ferndale Pride.

I understand that full payment must be made to secure the reservation. Fees are non-refundable. Exceptions may be considered by Ferndale Pride on a case by case basis, but only for extenuating circumstances. The decision is solely that of Ferndale Pride. Approved cancellations will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee. No exceptions.
