Pets are allowed. The event is extreamly busy loud and often hot. You are responsible for following all laws regarding animals and keeping your dog on a leash.
Public parking is located throughout Ferndale east and west of Woodward. Street parking is available is some areas of Ferndale. Click here to find out more about Ferndale Parking. Always read and obey the parking signs. Parking enforcement ends at 9pm. Parking on Sunday is always free in Ferndale. For information about Ferndale's parking app click here: Park Mobile.
In the effect of an emergency, Pride will shut down for safety. For everything else, remember weather in Michigan varies. Sunscreen and hydration are advised for some prides and umbrellas for others. We almost always get one rainbow during the week of Ferndale Pride. For weather predictions click here.

Ferndale Pride is always looking for volunteers. We need volunteers leading up to the event as well as on the day of the event. To volunteer please click here: volunteering at Ferndale Pride.
If this site is no longer active we have closed applications for the year. Applications generally open on January 2 and close mid March.
Please do not try to contact anyone regarding your application. Once all applications are reviewed acceptance and denial emails will be sent.
More than 70 applications come in each year for the few time slots on each stage. If you didn't make it this year try again next year!
