Pets are allowed. The event is extremely busy loud and often hot. You are responsible for following all laws regarding animals and keeping your dog on a leash. Ferndale Pride is not responsible for the safety or your pet. Livestock is prohibited in downtown Ferndale.
Public parking is located throughout Ferndale east and west of Woodward. Street parking is available is some areas of Ferndale. Click here to find out more about Ferndale Parking. Always read and obey the parking signs. Parking enforcement ends at MIDNIGHT. Parking on Sunday is always free in Ferndale. For information about Ferndale's parking app click here: Park Mobile.
Use the options! Lyft and Uber have great drop off locations throughout Ferndale. SMART Bus/ FAST Bus have routes conveniently located on Woodward!

In the effect of an emergency, Pride will shut down for safety. For everything else, remember weather in Michigan varies. Sunscreen and hydration are advised for some prides and umbrellas for others. We almost always get one rainbow during the week of Ferndale Pride. For weather predictions click here.

It's illegal to carry alcohol on in the streets of Ferndale. You can stop into any of our wonderful sponsors for an alcoholic beverage.
The volunteer booth is located at Planavon which intersects 9 Mile. The volunteer booth is sponsored by Motor City Casino Hotel so make sure to look for those banners along with volunteer booth.
Vendor Terms and Agreements 2020
Vendors must be open for business by 1 p.m. and must remain open until 8 p.m.
Vehicles are NOT allowed into the festival space except for unloading - only between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - where permissible and safe within the street fair.
Participants are responsible for transporting or shipping their goods to and from the street fair. Vendors are advised to bring 4 weights of at least 40 lbs. to weigh down their tent.
Vendors are prohibited from broadcasting any music or sound from their exhibit area- with the exception of radio station booths as agreed to with the event coordinator. Food/beverage vendors must comply with all state and county food preparation and handling regulations.
A copy of your company’s food handler’s certificate is required with the submission of your application. Electricity and water are NOT available to any booth or exhibit. Food/beverage vendors requiring the use of a generator must notify Ferndale Pride on this application.
Vendors not declaring the use of a generator or found illegally using municipal or business utilities will be promptly shut down and asked to leave the event.
All vendors, participants and attendees must act in strict accordance with state liquor laws. No alcohol may be brought into the street fair. Vendors doing so will be promptly shut down and asked to leave the event.
Vendors not in compliance will be fined by the City of Ferndale or the State of Michigan and will be responsible for any fine incurred by Ferndale Pride or Ferndale Community Foundation.
Vendors may not sell merchandise that contains the words “Ferndale Pride” or which depict the Ferndale Pride logo without prior written consent of the Ferndale Community Foundation. Vendors consent to being photographed, videotaped and/or quoted for Ferndale Pride publicity/promotion purposes.
Ferndale Pride reserves the right to prohibit any display or sale of any items or material that may be illegal, obscene, pornographic or inappropriate as deemed by Ferndale Pride.
Vendors and exhibitors are responsible for any damages caused by themselves or their staff members to any other booths, vendors, Ferndale Pride property or the City of Ferndale.
Applicant and all vendors and exhibitors agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ferndale Pride, Ferndale Community Foundation, and the City of Ferndale, from any claim, demand, suit, loss, cost or expense, or any damage which may be asserted, claimed or recovered including death, sustained by any person whomsoever and which damage, injury or death arises out of or is incident to, or in any way connected with Ferndale Pride event.
Full payment must be made to secure reservation. Fees are non-refundable after May 1 with no exceptions.
Food trucks must be compliant with State of Michigan, Oakland County and City of Ferndale regulations, including a fire suppression system.
Ferndale Pride reserves the right to refuse exhibitor space at its own discretion.
Companies, small businesses and nonprofits are eligible to apply MLMs are not eligible for booth space at Ferndale Pride.
Vendors are prohibited from strolling the event to sign up participants, customers or to bring event goers back to their booths.
A limited number of strolling booths can be arranged by contacting the event director.
Deadline for booth reservations and requests is May 1, 2020 if there are spots open.
Payment MUST be made with application. Any cancellation prior to the no cancellation period is subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
No refunds will be given 30 days prior to the event.

Applications generally open on January 2 and close mid February.
Consider attaching a live performance link in your application to improve your odds of being chosen.
Please do not try to contact anyone regarding your application. Once all applications are reviewed acceptance and denial emails will be sent.
More than 70 applications come in each year for the few time slots on each stage. If you didn't make it this year try again next year!
